About Chloe
I am a native speaker from California with an MSc from University College London in Biological Archaeology, and a BA from the University of California Los Angeles in Anthropology. During my undergraduate studies I completed a TEFL certification which I have since been using to teach private English lessons to university students.
During my Master's degree, I took courses in biology, genetics, pathology, anatomy, and epidemiology, while my undergraduate degree included courses in world history and cultural geography as supplements to anthropology. Since completing my academic education I have maintained and interest these subjects and try to stay up to date via journal articles and other literary material. I believe my studies in conjunction with my previous experience teaching English to students with various backgrounds, make me well suited to incorporate the academic areas mentioned above with online lessons.

Identifying their passions and incorporating them into the lessons. Recently during a Geography lesson I asked a student obsessed with Harry Potter to draw a cartogram of areas from the book, using 'danger for Harry' as a metric. She loved the assignment and now the material is clear to her.
