About Jason
I have over 25 years of experience coaching and training NBA, overseas, college, high school, and youth players—both boys and girls. I love teaching and helping players. I'm blessed to share my knowledge and demonstrate techniques to assist players achieve their goals.
I have proven results of effectively helping players significantly improve their skill development and basketball IQ. I utilize many of the same training methods that helped me become one of the top NCAA three-point and free-throw shooters.
I was a four-year college starting point guard, graduated with several statistical records, and was inducted into my college's Athletic Hall of Fame. Additionally, I was named the Jr. NBA Coach of the Year, lectured at many basketball camps, have produced over 40 basketball tutorial videos with more than 22 million views, and I've been featured on ESPN, SLAM Magazine, The New York Times, Madison Square Garden Network, and more for my work in basketball.
I have also served as the lead basketball clinician for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in New York City.
I began training middle school and high school players when I was a college basketball player.
- I was an Honorable Mention All-City selection in New York City as a high school junior.
- Inducted into my prep school Athletic Hall of Fame in Connecticut for my play as a basketball player during my senior year
- I earned a 4-year athletic scholarship to Saint Michael’s College
- I was a 4-year starter on the men’s basketball team
- I graduated with multiple records in the college's history, including:
#1 in career assists, #1 in career free throw percentage, #2 in career three-point field goal percentage, #3 in career steals
- I was inducted into the Saint Michael’s College Athletic Hall of Fame
- I have coached and trained players at all levels, including: Youth (ages 5-13), High School, College, NBA, Professional overseas, and recreational adults
- I have worked with boys, girls, men, and women, helping them develop their skills and reach their basketball goals.
- I was named the National Jr. NBA Coach of the Year
- I have worked on basketball coaching, training and player development projects with Big Apple Basketball, Nike, USA East Coast Basketball, and more.
- Have instructed over 40 online basketball tutorial videos that have amassed over 20 million views.
