About Roman
I am a former Univ. of Texas Baseball and Kansas City Royals minor league catcher. I offer advanced training for catchers from all ages. I work with both softball and baseball players individually or in small groups of 4.
I also have the equipment to be a mobile catching unit. Screens, pitching machine, generator, nets, bases, balls, etc.
I had played baseball my whole life, when I was done playing, I started working and instructing catchers.
I have trained catchers since my professional career ended in 2003. I have a Jr. College National Championship, Division 1 Conference Championship, and a Texas League Championship (AA) with the KC Royals. Along with the playing, I coached high school baseball for 5 years. Lastly, I have a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Administration, hence, "The Catching Doctor".

I ask new catchers and their parents what experience they have, and then assess them based on preliminary catching workouts. From there we develop a plan to meet their individual goals.
Baseball & Softball, all skill levels and ages.
Make sure they speak from experience and can relate to all ages of players.
Seeing catchers I have worked with reach their goals/dreams of making their select teams, high school team, college team, or get drafted by a MLB team.

Details
I charge $65 per hour / per individual.
Groups of 2-4 are $50 per catcher for 2 hour workouts.
