About Angela
I love sharing my knowledge and experience with people excited to learn.
I have been a professional artist, quilter, knitter, and sewer for over 30 years.
I have 2 teaching licenses and hold both a BA and Masters degree.
My art has been shown in many galleries, my sewing business is successful, and I still love what I do every day!
I was asked to be the 1st public schhol dance teacher in the state of GA in 1991 during my junior year of college (in 1990). After that I taught Art and French as well. I have always sewn, knitted, and learning to quilt in 2010.
A lifetime of studying dance, Painting, and sewing. over 30 years teaching in public schools, private studios, tutoring, and online.
teaching licenses in ART k-12 and DANCE k-12.

Always we disscuss what the student's goals are. Then we make plans together to reach that goal! I research videos and books that can help as well and set-up directives for the students to work on when they are not with me.
I have taught ages 6-adult in all areas.
Make sure your personalities and learning/teaching styles mesh. If you are going to pay for personal instruction, be sure you are happy with your "product".
Be sure that you have the space and supplies needed for this new area of study.
I love making personal connections with my students and clients that I work for. I remain in contact with several and have felt like one of the family with a few.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What am I ultimately wanting to achieve? How many hours in a day/week would I like to spend in order to feel comfortable with this new area? Do I have/can I afford the supplies needed to achieve my goals.
