As PTA president, I recommended Lara to lead our after school enrichment program focused on educating and exposing kids from 7-10 years old with theatre and putting on a production. Lara transformed the program, focusing the kids on character development, projection, blocking and learning lines. And the kids loved it- and the program has continued to grow. These kids were learning at a young age that are critical not not only a career in theatre, but also in life. And most importantly, the kids she was teaching were confident, having fun and learning the important fundamentals of theatre. Lara is a great theatre teacher, director and knows how to bring out the best in the kids she works with.

Lara is a gifted and dedicated theatre professional. Every aspect of her work is meticulous because she puts her heart and soul into even the smallest of projects. I have been impressed with her work for years and appreciate everything she’s created. She is the hardest working artist I know always striving towards excellence.
