About Dianne
I started out as an artist in my 20s Acting, singing and Persuing a career in New York for 16 years. After that I began facilitating human development and growth seminars that took me all over the world working with people to explore and heal blocks , behaviors and habits from their lives that where in the way of producing happiness, success and fulfillment. I did this work with thousands of people for 26 years , which taught me tremendous skills and insights into authenticity and human behavior. From there I went into teaching Acting since 2002. The two experiences have allowed me to merge my awareness from working deeply with people and also to use all my previous training in acting with a broad education and use of techniques, I feel my work is rich and impactful for the students I have and am training. Award-winning Theater Instructor with 40 years of teaching, coaching, directing at a high school and college level including a background in human developmental training .
Passionate and devoted educator, with a strong ability to motivate students to reach for their highest potential, promoting enthusiasm and determination to their work. I provide a strong balance in supporting each artist to find confidence, while providing the necessary abilities to overcome the stresses and demands of auditioning and numerous obstacles that exist in a theatrical environment.
Working as an actor in Chicago, London and New York I learned the business,dealt with the joys and struggles of being a working actor, and of course found life to be the greatest teacher.
Using my 25 years of experience working inside the Human Development Field, I utilized those skills and techniques to help students find effective and powerful ways to discover richer facets of themselves both on stage and off.
I consistently strive to be inspirational to others, constantly pursuing creativity, and use my strong work ethic to produce high caliber theatrical pieces. My educational skills and techniques have enabled students to enhance their performance gifts and improve themselves as individuals. Many of those students have gone on to continue their success on Broadway, Off Broadway, on National Tours, with Repitory Companies, and on Nationally Syndicated Television and Films; winning Awards and Accolades in each of their respective fields.
I have always found great joy and satisfaction sharing the great wisdom given to me over these years and it makes sense to me that passing it on is the gift I can give back. I love knowledge and feel that when you are aware of what you are doing it makes a fertile ground for confidence and inspiration. It is exciting and rewarding for me to see things click for my students and then see them bring who they are into their work. I love to know that I have been a support and resource to bringing each person closer to their dreams.
