About Bas
I've hosted many jam sessions, starting in Nijmegen, then in Tilburg, Amsterdam, Cap de Salou in Spain, and currently in the California Delta.
A couple of times this has led to active, working bands of people that found each other at our jam sessions, and discovered a shared love of music.
My goal ALWAYS is to make people happy. Either via enabling to dance, or via learning to play favored songs. I'm easy going and patient, everyone is unique.

After learning flute at age 6-8, my interest went to (rock and blues) guitar. Had lessons for guitar and bass, which became my main instrument.
Next, I discovered the drums, and got my own kit. Took lessons from a jazzrock drummer. In 2001 I bought a Senegalese Djembé on which I taught myself to play. I've taught at Galt Music Exchange 2021-2023 and from my home.
