About Emily

As an experienced nursing educator, I am passionate about imparting knowledge to my students. I strive to be patient, approachable, and helpful to all learners. About the lesson

I’m a full-time Nursing tutor with 17 years experience in Nursing Admission Exams. I have worked with the TEAS and HESI exams since their very first editions. I tutor all subjects, and can provide help in specific areas, or with the exam as a whole. Over the years, I have invested thousands of hours into understanding every detail of these exams, so that I can provide accurate material, and effective strategies and methods to get you exceptional results on your exam.
The TEAS and HESI are very unique and challenging exams. Unfortunately, the resources available to prepare for the TEAS or HESI exams are also not very accurate to the actual exam. This leads many students to become frustrated with the study process and requires a majority of students to take their exam multiple times. For this reason, I regularly take the TEAS and HESI exams myself to ensure that I am completely familiar with the exact content, style, and grading criteria, and also allows me to understand the experience my students have while taking their exam.
My focus is to ensure that you know exactly what you will need to know for your exam, without wasting any time studying material that you do not need. I provide materials for each lesson, as well as additional practice materials to work on between lessons, and mock exams to simulate the testing experience, and allow you to see your progress. My materials provide us with a template to cover every single aspect of the exam, and allow you to experience all of the different question styles and difficulty levels you will see on your specific exam.
I also provide tutoring for all other Nursing Admission Exams (Kap, NAT, TSI, etc.)!
