I listen to my student's interests, how they are brought to music, and what motivates them to keep learning. If necessary I can always share interesting facts about music and his interaction with society to help grow that motivation.
A typical lesson plan would be learning a song or a specific skill to be able to learn new songs.
The dynamic of communication that I have makes my classes entertaining and enjoyable. I have taken lessons from many one on one teachers over the years so I know how it feels to be on the other side.
I can teach students from beginner level to mid/advanced depending on the genre they are trying to go deep in, but I am happy to say that I know many music genres and I can help my students get interiorized with any of them.

Perfect! Arif was really good. He taught the way I asked to be taught. He clearly knows a tremendous amount of theory, but he didn't let our lessons get bogged down talking too much, he brought it back to the practical lesson. I highly recommend him.
