About Kaitlin
I have a BA in English and an MA in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I taught middle school Language Arts for three years, but I strongly prefer high school. I am in graduate school to become a therapist, but I still have a passion for English literature, and I would love to use that passion to help students.

My teaching method is based in the belief that literature is subjective and that I can help students create ideas and gather new insights through stories. I work well with students who can read a novel on their own, but who may have trouble gathering meaning from complicated texts. I also enjoy helping students improve their writing, whether by helping them improve their grammar or by helping them craft a style.
