I'm Barney and I offer tutoring for History and Religious Studies students.
I offer experience of 15 years of teaching in secondary schools, a wide range of knowledge and an encouraging, approachable manner.
I will challenge you to achieve your best, and teach you the skills to be able to do so.

I have 15 years experience teaching History and Religious Studies to a wide range of students. I have a PGCE in History (11-18), a PDip in Medieval History and a BA Hons in History.
I believe in an approach that encourages and empowers students to develop their critical thinking, knowledge and analytical skills. Questioning to push students to a deeper understanding of a topic, not just repeating facts.
I offer flexible sessions both in-person (at your home or agreed venue) or online. Sessions offered for KS3, GCSE, A Level or adult learners.
