About Alice
I am immediately available for summer-time catching up and preparation for the next year.
• GCSE Grade A* ; A grade in A Level Mathematics from the OCR board which is especially challenging.
• Taught GCSE Mathematics for one year in an Ofsted-approved London school
• Experience of private tuition with great results. For instance, one student who initially struggled with Mathematics was moved up a set, following our lessons.
My high school results were:
A Level: Mathematics (A), Chemistry (A), French (A)
A.S. Level: Biology (A), English Literature (A)
GCSE: 9A*s in: Mathematics, Science, Additional Science, French, English Language, English Literature, Religious Studies, Art and Design, Design and Technology
+ 1 FSMQ in Additional Mathematics at Grade A.

I am a patient, constructive and friendly tutor with excellent subject knowledge.
I deliver clear and structured lessons and know how to prepare students well for GCSE and A Level examinations, given my own personal experience of high-achieving in these exams.
Lessons are tailored to the curriculum of the student, specific examinations and the student's needs.
I ascertain particular areas of difficulty to be addressed and provide clear explanations. I am patient when working through areas of difficulty.
A strong element of my lessons is preparation for specific examinations - working through example questions together to build confidence and competence early on.
My aim is to see students fill and exceed their potential, as well as develop an enjoyment for the subject.
I have good rapport with my students and am successful at building their confidence and independence in subjects they may struggle with.
