About Isabel
Course description
• Expression: Role playing, situation simulations, personal expositions and debates are offered so that the student learns to express him or herself in Spanish, in the most spontaneous ways possible.
• Grammar: Guided by the professor, the student is invited to explain the language’s rules and structures in his or her own words.
• Vocabulary: Basic vocabulary is presented in a concrete and visual manner, while more abstract words or notions are always presented in context.
• I also offer several activities in oral comprehension: audio files and videos, either in their existing form or adapted to the student’s level. Similarly, I propose the viewing and discussion of full-length or short films, in different dialects of Spanish.
• In parallel, I use my knowledge in Cognitive psychology to help each student develop new, personal and efficient learning strategies.

I offer Spanish lessons, oral and written, private or in groups, at home, in a work environment or in public places, and at all levels of advancement. The classes I offer are adapted to the particular needs and learning pace of each student or group.
My approach is at once interactive and communicative, with the student active in his own learning process. The courses are oriented so that the learning of Spanish, beyond a simple linguistic or academic experience, becomes an enriching experience at all levels.
