About Keeley
I am an experienced and qualified secondary school teacher with experience teaching Health & Social Care, as well as a range of other secondary subjects. I enjoy helping students develop their understanding of the subject while building the confidence they need to succeed in their coursework and exams.
Health & Social Care covers a wide range of topics and can involve remembering a lot of information, applying knowledge to different scenarios and developing detailed written answers. I can help students break down more difficult topics, consolidate their learning and understand how to apply their knowledge effectively.
My teaching style is friendly, patient and supportive, while keeping lessons focused on making progress. I adapt lessons to suit each student's individual needs, whether they need help catching up with classroom work, preparing for an assessment or exam, improving their written answers or building their confidence.
As an experienced teacher, I understand that students learn in different ways and I aim to make lessons engaging and accessible. I particularly enjoy helping students who may feel overwhelmed by a subject to break it down into manageable sections and develop a clear plan for improving.
I am happy to work with students of different abilities and tailor sessions around their individual goals and areas for development.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they need help understanding key topics, preparing for assessments or exams, improving their written answers or building their confidence.
I can help students break down more challenging areas of Health & Social Care into manageable sections and develop a clear understanding of the key concepts.
Lessons can include consolidating classroom learning, revising important topics, working through exam-style questions and developing the skills needed to apply knowledge to different scenarios.
I particularly focus on helping students understand how to structure and develop their answers, rather than simply memorising information, so they can demonstrate their knowledge effectively in assessments and exams.
My lessons are friendly, supportive and focused, with the content adapted to the student's ability, current level and goals. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for an upcoming assessment or simply want to feel more confident in the subject, I'll work with you to identify what you need and build from there.
