About Caroline
My first tutoring job was when I was in high school. I tutored a 3rd grader in a few different subjects because she was having difficulty keeping up in class. After a few sessions, I knew I had found a new love for tutoring because I would spend extra hours preparing and problem-solving how to help this little girl. I loved watching her confidence grow and her academic progress increase. I later pursued a career in teaching young students and earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in education. I am currently a full-time teacher, but I often miss tutoring because I can be more creative and individualized in my lessons.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in TESOL. I am currently a 4th-grade math and science teacher, but I love all subjects! I have taught in two different states and learned so much from those experiences and from my co-workers. These opportunities have also exposed me to countless resources. My lessons can be adapted to a variety of learning styles, and I love to incorporate students' passions into their individualized lessons. I also believe students learn the best through inquiry and discovery because they are naturally curious.
