About Tony
I'm a qualified high school Religion teacher with five years of classroom experience, specializing in senior Studies of Religion. I’ve helped hundreds of students exceed expectations, often surpassing their predicted HSC marks. I tutor because I genuinely care about making content clear, relevant, and results-driven—especially for students aiming for university entry. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things. I understand students juggle multiple subjects, so my tutoring is designed to make Studies of Religion clear, relevant, and easy to apply. The goal isn’t just knowledge for its own sake; it’s getting the mark you need for university.
I have 5 years experience teaching the course, with the following achievements:
- Average of 80% of students achieve Band 5 or higher
- Significant learning gains each year (students succeeding their predicted marks)
Each session involves clear explanation, application to simplified questions, feedback, and re-attempting tasks at HSC standard; making content applicable to students at any level. Duration typically runs for 60 minutes.
I also provide step-by-step checklists that, when followed, consistently lead to improved results.
