About Angelica
I am a licensed special education teacher and educational leader with 20+ years of experience supporting diverse learners, particularly students who have struggled in traditional school settings. I earned my Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Special Education in 2026.
My doctoral dissertation, Behavior Management Practices to Facilitate Graduation from Alternative Education High Schools: A Qualitative Study, explored practices educators use to help students overcome challenges and successfully complete high school.
My experience includes special education, English Language Arts, curriculum development, IEP support, academic interventions, and mentoring educators. I bring both professional teaching experience and firsthand doctoral-level research and writing experience to my tutoring. My goal is to provide supportive, practical instruction that helps students strengthen their skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.
