We identify what the student is working on and what’s causing confusion.
Targeted explanation
I explain one or two key concepts (grammar, usage, or pronunciation) using clear examples.
Guided practice
We practice together through exercises, conversation, or short writing tasks.
Independent practice
The student tries speaking or writing while I provide immediate feedback and corrections.
Wrap-up
We summarize what to focus on next and how to practice efficiently between sessions.
