About Tamer
I have more than 14 years working in the Software Industry as a software developer and now I have my consulting business. I'm passionate about teaching programming. I stress on the foundations because I don't want you to be a framework developer, I want you to be a software developer who could easily learn any programming language, step in code in any language, write clean code, and build well designed softwares.
Personally when I interview a developer for a job I ask first about the foundations, if it's missing then i don't proceed with the interview. Big respectful software companies stress on how you're thinking, the way you solve problems, knowledge of algotherims, they never ask you for the syntax of the language because they want software developer not framework developers, and it's my job to make you a good software developer :)

I really stress on the foundations before the language, I don't want my student to be a "framework developer" I want them to be sofwtare developers who could write code in any language.
To be a good software developer you need to have good foundation of
1- Basic Programming skills
2-Object Oriented Programming
3- Data Structures
I could also include web development (ASP.NET, Angular, Javascript, C#, ASP.ET Web API,CSS..) depending on the student's level
