About Beth
As someone who has always aspired to work within the music industry and be able to perform my original material, I believe self-expression is vital to a young person's self-identity and understanding of themself. Being able to trust your instrument and have belief and confidence in what you do remains the most important aspect of musicianship. I am able to work through creative identity, direction, vocal technique and sound, as well as songwriting to enable them to progress and further develop their instrument.

I teach with an individualistic approach, working on what feels right to the student and the direction in which they wish to take. As an originally self-taught musician from a young age, the importance of individualistic creative direction and character expression plays a key part in finding your own voice and stylistic sound, so recognising what aspirations and goals each student has remains a key part of my lessons.
I am flexible with lesson length and am able to teach a range of levels and ages. As a full-time primary school teaching assistant, I have experience working with young people from the age of 7+, however, I have also coached students aged 16+ to prepare for auditions and exams too.
