About Paw
I am a Bachelor of Science graduate with over 4 years of teaching experience in Singapore, highly familiar with the MOE syllabus. I specialize in Science and have helped students achieve remarkable academic progress. All of my Primary 6 students improved from AL6 to AL3/AL2 under my guidance. Some continued with me into Secondary 1, and scored 80% to 90% in their mid-year Science exam. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply and answer open-ended questions effectively. On average, I can spot 7 out of 12 open-ended questions in the PSLE Science exam. Currently, I am pursuing higher education as a Research Master’s student at Hokkaido University, Japan, under the MEXT scholarship awarded by the Japanese government. I am passionate about Science education and confident in guiding students to improve their results and develop a strong foundation in scientific thinking. I am now seeking a full-time online Science tutoring opportunity where I can continue to inspire and support students in reaching their academic goals.

In my online Science lessons, I use engaging animations and a Quizlet or Kahoot-style teaching method to make learning both visual and interactive. My focus is on helping students understand concepts clearly and apply the right keywords when answering questions. I train them to craft short, effective answers packed with key terms that meet MOE marking criteria. Every lesson is structured to build both content knowledge and exam technique, ensuring students become confident, accurate, and efficient in tackling open-ended Science questions.
