About Ryan
An experienced science teacher with a specialism in Biology, but the experience of teaching all three sciences at KS4 level.
I have tutored students at all levels and recent examples include virtually tutoring a Medicine applicant at A-level and a Foundation level GCSE student at my home.
I hold a PGCE in Biology and a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Professionally I work as a Head of Year and have previously been a KS3 Science co-ordinator.
Personally, I am energetic, full of puns and very technically literate.

I thoroughly believe in being adaptable depending on students needs. Everyone learns differently. Personally, I like teaching to be very interactive. I believe through strong verbal communication and humour students retain more information. On a more academic note the key to progress for many students surrounds extensive exam practice allowing the to get used to the phrasing and wording of questions. That way students can more readily apply their knowledge.
