About Swati
Hi, I’m currently working as a cover teacher in a secondary school in the UK, and I also have over a year of experience as an assistant teacher in a primary school.
I am a trained primary teacher from India and I also have a Master’s degree in English. This helps me support students strongly in reading, writing and overall communication skills.
I’ve always enjoyed working with children and helping them when they feel stuck or unsure. I understand that every child learns differently, and sometimes they just need someone to explain things in a simple and patient way.
I started tutoring because I want to give more one-to-one support and help children grow in confidence. It’s really rewarding to see them improve and feel proud of what they can do.
I’m friendly, patient and supportive, and I always try to make lessons comfortable and positive for every child.

I keep my lessons simple, supportive and focused on what your child actually needs help with. At the start, I take a bit of time to understand where they are struggling, and then we work through it step by step.
I mainly help with English and Maths, but I can also support with all primary subjects and homework. During lessons, I explain things clearly, practise together, and then let your child try independently so they build confidence.
I know every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach depending on what works best for them. I always try to create a calm and friendly environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.
My aim is not just to help them improve in school, but also to feel more confident in their learning.
