About Daniel
I am a musician with professional experience playing the guitar in live and studio settings across London and Nottingham. I have gained a First Class Honours in Music & Music Technology degree at UoN and have been giving private lessons for 7 years now in rock, blues, jazz and classical genres. I myself have achieved top grades across all ABRSM exams.
I have also released music under the band Pipedream and solo artist Shoelace.

As an electric guitarist teaching rock/blues/jazz genres, I use music theory (chords, scales, modes) in a practical way to apply it to your playing. I delve into soloing and improvisation to find your own musical voice and greatly improve upon your fretboard knowledge. I take inspiration from great guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Larry Carlton, Jimi Hendrix, Guthrie Govan and can help you apply these great styles to your own playing.
As a well-trained ABRSM Grade 8 Classical Guitarist, I will develop your fingerstyle technique to a high standard. I can teach Classical Grades or learn great Classical pieces whilst teaching the theory behind it. I take inspiration from Francisco Tárrega, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Astor Piazzolla.
I am well-versed in many guitar styles you would like to learn and can offer lessons to people of all ages. I am a positive and friendly tutor and strive for your progress and overall enjoyment!
