Welcome to my carefully cultivated and landscaped educational park! I'm Sim Yang, a New Zealand Registered Chinese teacher with over 10 years of language teaching experience and a passion for inspiring students in their language journey.
My teaching techniques are innovative and personalized, catering to individual learning styles and abilities. I believe in cultivating a strong interest and passion for language learning, turning it into a beneficial and rewarding journey towards better communication, job opportunities, and a happier life.
Having grown up in a family of teachers, I have always admired the teaching profession's social significance. My dream has been to "propagate the doctrine, impart professional knowledge, and resolve doubts," just like my respected parents. After pursuing multiple degrees, I achieved my goal of becoming a registered teacher in New Zealand.
Over the years, I have taught students of various ages, from 5 to 55, and developed customized teaching methods to ensure their success. Whether it's teaching kids along with their parents or guiding students through high-stakes exams, my teaching is always tailored to their specific needs.
I have founded educational companies in both New Zealand and China, with a commitment to lifelong engagement in education. The recent changes in the world, brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, have reinforced the importance of online education. With a focus on developing online language courses, I aim to break through barriers and provide efficient and accessible learning opportunities.
My mission is to cultivate high-level language interest, impart effective learning skills, and help others live a happy life through language education. I am dedicated to guiding you on your language learning journey and ensuring your success in achieving your goals.

With over 10 years of language teaching experience and a strong background in language teaching research, I approach tutoring with a versatile and innovative methodology. As a qualified NZ Registered Chinese teacher with three Master's degrees in language teaching and a current doctoral candidature in Applied Linguistics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my classes. My trilingual ability (English, Mandarin, Cantonese) allows me to effectively cater to a diverse range of learners.
My lessons are tailored for students of various levels and ages, from Year 1-13 in New Zealand to students aged 5-55 in China.
