I have taught English as a Foreign or second language for many years to all age groups. I have taught one to one, groups and classes. I have helped students achieve their goals such as GCSE English or Cambridge First Certificate. I have helped many native speakers of English improve their skills in English such as reading, writing, spelling and grammar. I am patient and encouraging and creative.

I first find out exactly what things the student needs to work on in order to improve. I devise a detailed plan and set goals. I use a learner centred approach. I choose material that will interest the student.
I always review the learning to check the student has mastered the skill. I use a variety of techniques to make the lessons fun and interesting.
