About Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer, an experienced UK teacher and Queensland-registered with a background in both primary and secondary education. I have experience teaching a range of subjects, including Humanities, English, Religious Education, Philosophy and History, as well as supporting students with different learning needs and abilities.
I’m passionate about helping students build both their academic skills and their confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take a personalized approach to tutoring, adapting my lessons, explanations and activities to suit each individual student.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging and engaging. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding at their own pace. I also focus on helping students become more independent and confident learners, rather than simply giving them the answers.
Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for assessments, strengthening their subject knowledge or simply building confidence, I’m here to provide patient, structured and encouraging support.
As a qualified teacher with classroom experience, I bring professional teaching expertise to every lesson and am committed to helping each student reach their potential.

I am a qualified and experienced UK teacher who believes that the best tutoring is personalized, engaging and tailored to each individual student. Every learner is different, so I adapt my lessons to their ability, confidence, interests and specific learning needs.
My lessons are supportive and encouraging while maintaining clear academic expectations. I use a range of teaching techniques, including questioning, discussion, modeling, scaffolding, worked examples, guided practice, retrieval activities, formative assessment and opportunities for students to apply their learning independently. I aim to make lessons interactive and engaging rather than simply talking at students.
I begin by identifying each student's strengths and areas for development before creating lessons around their individual goals. This may include supporting schoolwork, improving written communication, developing essay-writing skills, preparing for assessments and exams, revising key knowledge or building confidence in a particular subject.
Lessons are 45 - 60 minutes long, depending on the student's age, level and individual needs. I can adapt the pace and structure of lessons to suit each learner.
I am a qualified UK teacher with experience teaching students aged 6–16 across English, History, Religious Education, Philosophy and Humanities. I have experience working in both primary and secondary education and supporting students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs.
My aim is for every student to finish each lesson having learned something new, made meaningful progress and, most importantly, feeling more confident than when they started.
