About Viktor
I have been working as a vocal coach for over five years, guiding singers of different skill levels to develop their voices, build confidence, and discover their unique sound. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with beginners who were just finding their voice, as well as more advanced singers preparing for performances, auditions, and recordings. What drives me in this career path is the transformation I get to witness in each student. Singing is deeply personal—it’s not just about hitting the right notes, but also about expressing emotion, building self-confidence, and connecting with others. Helping someone unlock their vocal potential, overcome insecurities, and truly enjoy their voice is incredibly rewarding. I am passionate about vocal coaching because I believe the voice is a powerful instrument that everyone carries within them. With the right training, technique, and encouragement, anyone can improve their singing ability. My goal is not only to help students sing better, but also to help them love the process, embrace their individuality, and use their voice as a tool for both artistic expression and personal growth.

A Professional Approach to Vocal Coaching
1. Foundational Philosophy
My teaching approach is rooted in the belief that every voice is unique, and with the right guidance, every student can achieve vocal freedom, confidence, and artistry. I focus on helping singers understand their instrument (the body and voice) while nurturing a balance of technique, expression, and performance.
2. Student-Centered Learning
Assessment First: Each student begins with a diagnostic session where I evaluate vocal range, tone, flexibility, posture, breath support, and performance style.
Personalized Plan: Based on the student’s goals—whether professional performance, auditions, choir participation, or personal enjoyment—I design a tailored learning path.
All Levels Covered:
Beginners – build confidence, posture, breathing, pitch accuracy, and vocal health awareness.
Intermediate – expand vocal range, refine tone, develop resonance, and strengthen stylistic expression.
Advanced – performance readiness, stylistic nuance, improvisation, stage presence, and advanced technical control.
3. Core Areas of Instruction
a) Vocal Technique & Mechanics
Breath management and support
Vocal placement and resonance
Register blending (chest, mix, head voice)
Diction and articulation across languages
Dynamics, agility, and endurance
b) Musicianship
Ear training (pitch, harmony, intervals)
Rhythm and phrasing
Sight-singing and notation (if applicable to goals)
Repertoire building across genres
c) Performance & Expression
Stage presence and audience connection

Confidence building and overcoming performance anxiety
Microphone technique (for contemporary and amplified styles)
d) Vocal Health & Sustainability

Guidance on safe vocal recovery
4. Methodology & Teaching Style
Progressive Curriculum: Lessons are structured but flexible, ensuring gradual skill development.
Demonstration & Application: I model techniques, then guide students in applying them to repertoire.
Feedback Loop: Constructive, specific feedback during lessons plus exercises for at-home practice.
Holistic Integration: Combining physical, emotional, and artistic aspects of singing to create authentic performances.
5. Tools & Resources
Custom vocal exercises tailored to each student
Backing tracks and accompaniment tools
Recording and playback for self-assessment
Written feedback and practice plans between sessions
Integration of technology (apps for pitch, rhythm, and ear training)
6. Growth Measurement
Short-term goals: weekly and monthly achievements (e.g., mastering a breathing exercise, extending range).
Long-term goals: semester/year progress (e.g., preparing for recitals, auditions, or recording projects).
Periodic evaluations: comparing recorded performances to track measurable improvement.
7. Professional Development & Continued Learning
As a coach, I continue refining my own expertise by:
Studying vocal pedagogy research and new techniques
Participating in workshops/masterclasses with industry professionals
Expanding my knowledge across genres (classical, jazz, pop, musical theatre, gospel, R&B, etc.)
Staying informed on vocal science and health practices
8. Coaching Outcomes
Students leave my studio with:
A healthy, sustainable vocal technique
Greater confidence and artistic identity
Skills applicable to multiple genres and performance contexts
Tools for independent practice and lifelong vocal growth
