About Vamsi
An experienced professional with a unique tri-sector experience across Government, Non-Profit and Private Sector in a strategic advisory role in the education sector. I am very passionate about education and learning in K-12 and Higher Education space. I very much enjoy teaching particularly to K-12 students. Currently, I work as a Product Manager for a hospitality start up in London.
In the past, I have worked extensively in the education sector. For instance, I was engaged with Teach for India (where in I taught 4th and 5th children coming from low income communities in India), Ministry of Human Resource Development (Government of India), Graduate School of Education (Stanford University), K-12 Assessment Organizations and State level education departments in India. My last experience was with Deloitte Consulting's Strategy and Operations (S&O) practice working as a Senior Consultant handling large scale education related projects. I am also passionate about research and have completed a PhD in sciences from University of Minnesota in USA.

I base my teaching methodology on identifying student misconceptions and providing targeted pedagogical interventions. I also heavily rely on data and novel assessment methdologies to accurately identifying the learning levels of the students, administering quality formative assessments that will cover the range of student ability together with gathering more value from the same assessment data (ex: unexpected response patterns for a student or item, probability of guessing or doing silly mistakes, etc.) and moving beyond descriptive statistics.
