I met Dr. Shyam Sriram in my very first semester of college, and from that moment forward, he became far more than just a professor. I have taken five courses with him, volunteered alongside him with various refugee resettlement agencies, coauthored articles with him, and had the privilege of serving as president of our university’s local chapter of Every Campus A Refuge under his guidance.
