Hello! I'm Shila, a dedicated Mathematics teacher with two years of classroom experience teaching primary school students in India. I hold a Diploma In Elementary Education and have qualified both West Bengal TET and CTET teacher eligibility exams, which reflect my commitment to professional teaching standards. I'm currently continuing my education with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. My teaching method focuses on breaking math down into small, simple steps, using real-life examples so concepts feel practical, not abstract. A typical lesson starts with reviewing what the student already knows, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic, guided practice together, and a few problems the student solves independently while I offer support. What sets me apart is patience — I never move forward until a student truly understands, and I adjust my explanations based on how each child learns best. My lessons are designed for students in grades 1 to 8, covering topics like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and early algebra. I especially enjoy helping students who feel nervous about math build real confidence.
