About Del
Hello! Having achieved VHAs consistently within a broad subject range in high school, I am all too wary of the stresses and anxieties of a Secondary study load. Now in my second year of a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Sociology and Philosophy), I have enjoyed many opportunities to guide current primary and high school students on both healthy and successful education pathways.

At this point as a school tutor I have experience working with students of various ages and personalities, in both primary and high school environments. A key focus of mine is helping students to set goals, not just for the long term but in the context of day-to-day study; this affords them a positive sense of progression and achievement after each session. My work in the past has mainly involved assisting students in the areas of English, Maths, Humanities and Science. In this time I've accrued a great deal of both knowledge and resources to draw on when helping students reach their potential. I also possess a current QLD Blue Card (a.k.a. Working with Children Check in other states).
