About Bria
I have been teaching piano for 17 years, working with students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction, making lessons enjoyable, productive, and inspiring. I have helped students perform in recitals, participate in competitions, and successfully complete graded exams.
Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, tailored to each student’s skill level and goals. I aim to nurture creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for music in every student.

My teaching methodology is grounded in compassion, communication, and personalized support. I believe every student learns differently, and my role is to adapt lessons to their pace, style, and goals. In piano lessons, I focus on technical skill, rhythm, sight-reading, and expressive playing, while also nurturing creativity and artistic interpretation.
I combine structured exercises with engaging pieces that are both challenging and enjoyable. Open communication is central to my approach—I encourage students to ask questions, share their goals, and reflect on their learning. Supportiveness is key—I patiently guide students through difficulties, celebrate their progress, and help them build confidence and self-belief.
I apply the same approach to other subjects I teach, including music theory, composition, and ear training. My ultimate aim is to create a motivating and inspiring environment where students grow musically, creatively, and personally while developing a lifelong passion for learning.
