About Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah, a passionate and enthusiastic educator with a background in physiotherapy and a strong academic foundation. I bring years of experience working with people of all ages, including children and teens, and pride myself on being both supportive and adaptable in my approach. I’m a naturally motivating and inspiring person, and I genuinely love helping others grow in confidence and reach their potential. Whether I’m teaching science or English, I focus on making learning feel engaging, accessible, and fun. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor each lesson to suit their individual pace, strengths, and goals. As a qualified health professional with a strong academic background and years of experience educating people in both science and communication, I bring a supportive, caring and engaging approach to tutoring. My goal is to make each student feel confident, capable, and motivated in their learning.
I have worked with a range of individuals and therefore tailor my teaching style to suit each student’s unique learning needs. I love using real-life examples, things the student can relate to and understand, breaking the problem down, visual tools, and simple explanations to make complex ideas easier to grasp and remember.
Lessons typically run for 45 to 60 minutes and are conducted online for convenience and flexibility. I have extensive experience working with both children and teenagers through my work as a physiotherapist, where I regularly provided education and support to people with a wide range of learning styles and abilities — including those with additional needs.
My tutoring is ideal for school-aged students from primary through to high school who are looking to build their skills and confidence in their studies.
I am very bubbly, positive, and genuinely passionate about inspiring young learners to reach their full potential in a fun and encouraging environment. I believe my strengths is my rapport with students and encouraging them to become the best version of themselves.
