About Upol

I am a passionate and dedicated Physics teacher with a strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed. I currently teach GCSE and A-Level Physics and hold a PhD in Aeroacoustics, an MSc in Physics, and a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physics from the University of Manchester.

My journey in physics has given me a deep understanding of the subject, and I enjoy sharing this knowledge with students in a way that makes even challenging topics easier to understand. I believe that every student has the potential to achieve great results with the right guidance, encouragement and support.

I became a teacher because I enjoy helping students develop their understanding, build confidence and discover the satisfaction of solving problems independently. For me, teaching is not just about achieving better grades; it is also about developing curiosity, logical thinking and a genuine appreciation for science.

As a tutor, I aim to create a friendly, supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and achieve your full potential in Physics, Maths and Engineering.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, ability and learning goals. As a qualified Physics teacher currently teaching GCSE and A-Level Physics, I focus on making complex concepts simple, clear and engaging.

With a PhD in Aeroacoustics, an MSc in Physics, and a PGCE with QTS in Physics from the University of Manchester, I combine strong subject knowledge with effective teaching strategies to help students succeed.

I teach GCSE Physics, A-Level Physics, GCSE Maths and A-Level Engineering. My lessons focus on building a solid understanding of key concepts, developing problem-solving skills, practising exam-style questions and improving exam technique. I encourage students to ask questions, learn from mistakes and develop confidence in their abilities.
