About Bekah
I am an experienced teacher of Philosophy, Theology and Religious studies for ages 11-18. I have an excellent history of both A Level and GCSE results and can offer expertise in understanding subject content, writing essays and mastering exam technique.
I come from an academic background with first class degrees in the subject area from Edinburgh and Cambridge University. I have previously worked with admissions at Oxbridge so can offer support and advice on personal statements in the relevant subject areas.
I currently work closely with Ofsted preparing curriculum policies for KS3 and KS4 RS. I was chosen for this job due to my subject expertise and previous work training other RS teachers in delivering high quality education. I am confident that whatever a student's needs in the subject, I will be able to help them excel.
I am a passionate subject enthusiast who enjoys one on one teaching. My methods are based around the principle that at the heart of becoming a successful student of a subject discipline is reading, analysis, and powerful knowledge. There are no gimmicks or quick-tricks in my tutoring as I believe a firm foundation of meaningful knowledge is the best way to help students to succeed in both essays, exams and in future life.
