About Dr Sejal
Hi, I am Sejal! I am a mathematician with a PhD in Mathematics from Poland. I studied at IIT Jodhpur in India before moving to Poland for my doctorate, and along the way I've worked as a teaching assistant, tutored students of all levels. What I've learned through all of it is that great teaching isn't about being the smartest person in the room — it's about meeting each student exactly where they are.
Outside of math, I am someone who genuinely enjoys the process of figuring things out — whether that's a tricky proof or a home renovation project. I bring that same patience and curiosity to every lesson.
If you are looking for a tutor who will take the time to actually explain why things work, not just hand you formulas to memorize, I would love to help.

My classes are tailored to each student's level and goals, whether that's high school algebra, exam preparation, or university-level courses like calculus, analysis, or linear algebra. I typically start with a short assessment to understand where you are strong and where you are struggling, then build a personalized plan around that.
Lessons combine clear explanations with plenty of practice. I believe you truly learn math by doing it, not just watching someone else do it. I also make sure to explain the reasoning behind each method, not just the steps, so you can tackle new problems with confidence, not just memorized formulas.
Classes are available online. I am flexible on pace, some students need a slow, thorough build-up, others want to move quickly and focus on specific weak points. Regular feedback and practice problems between sessions are also part of how I keep progress moving.
