About Jillian

I am an opera singer and vocal studies major with a Bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance from McGill University. I received my Grade 10 certification in voice and piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have trained extensively with professors and coaches from conservatories in the United States, Germany, France, London, and Switzerland. I believe everyone can sing and it is never too late to start learning!

About the lesson

In our lessons, we will focus on developing proper breath support, body awareness, and vocal placement through a series of exercises/warm-ups to allow you to build a strong vocal technique. You can bring any songs in any genre to me, and we will go through them together to find ways to help you sing more confidently with a better technique.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Jillian.

Perfect! I was visiting Canada for a month and was looking for a teacher who could help me continue practicing opera singing. Jillian was able to meet my request and expectations perfectly. The lessons were tailored to my needs, and I was able to continue improving during my stay in Vancouver.
I highly recommend Jillian as a teacher of opera singing.

Perfect! I've been taking singing lessons with Jillian for the past few months. She has helped me improve so much over a short period of time by giving me lots of good feedback and advice. I've been having a great time learning how to sing as a beginner. Jillian has really made learning how to sing accessible for everyone and she always customizes our lessons to target the things I want to improve. 100% recommend!
