In my one-hour lessons, I focus on building both understanding and exam confidence. Each lesson is divided into two parts: the first half is dedicated to explaining the topic in detail, often using examples and exam-style questions to reinforce the concepts. During the second half, the student works independently on exam questions to apply what they've learned. If they’re still struggling by the end of the lesson, I assign tailored homework to help strengthen their understanding. In the following session, I start with recap questions to assess whether the homework was completed and understood. If they’ve grasped the material, we move on to a new topic. If not, we continue working on the same topic to ensure full understanding. This approach ensures steady progress, adapting to each student's unique needs.
