About Edison
My name is Edison. I am a native Mandarin speaker, born and raised in Taiwan. I graduated from National Taiwan University with major in finance. In my leisure time, I have spent a lot of time researching English/Mandarin teaching skills to be a better teacher. I have been teaching languages for more than 4 years. Since I teach online and in person, I have students from all over the world, such as Singapore, the UK, the USA, France, Australia, etc. Basically, I focus on one-on-one tutoring, considering its efficiency to develop students` language skills, and I teach both traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese. Due to COVID-19, only online classes are available now. In addition, I have been to a lot of countries in Asia as well as in Europe and I really enjoy getting to know different people all over the world. Hence, my experiences would also help me to combine cultures of different countries, which we could definitely discuss further topics together. Anyways, I am looking forward to seeing you in class!
