About Teresa
I have more than 30 years’ experience as a registered nurse predominantly in the area of critical care nursing, rural and remote primary health care practice and nurse education. I have been involved in health professional education for over 20 years in various academic positions at James Cook University (JCU), Central Queensland University (CQU) and within Queensland Health.
I am currently registered with AHPRA as a Division 1 registered nurse – NMW(concealed information)
My qualifications include MAdvNursPrac., BHSc., DPH&TM, GCert.CritCareNurs., GCert.Ed(TT). I have substantial experience in simulation curriculum design, simulation standards of practice and accreditation.
I am experienced in online learning as an academic working at a university that predominantly teaches via distance learning.
