About Avery
Hi, I’m Avery! I’m a junior at Northwestern University majoring in Economics and minoring in Business. Throughout my time at Northwestern, I have earned Dean’s List honors every quarter and developed a strong passion for helping others learn.
I have experience tutoring both Northwestern student-athletes in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and younger students in math. I enjoy working with students of all ages and pride myself on being patient, approachable, and adaptable to different learning styles.
Outside of academics, I value hard work, curiosity, and building confidence in others. Whether you’re looking for help mastering a difficult subject, improving your grades, or simply gaining more confidence in the classroom, I’m excited to help you reach your goals.

As a junior at Northwestern University majoring in Economics with a minor in Business, I bring both strong academic credentials and real tutoring experience to every session. I have earned Dean’s List honors every quarter during my time at Northwestern and understand what it takes to succeed in challenging courses.
I have tutored Northwestern student-athletes in both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, helping them strengthen their understanding of course material, prepare for exams, and improve their academic performance. In addition, I have worked with elementary school students in math, developing the patience and communication skills needed to explain concepts clearly to learners of all ages.
My teaching style is supportive, personalized, and goal-oriented. Whether you’re looking for help with economics, algebra, homework, test preparation, or general academic confidence, I adapt lessons to your individual learning style and needs. My goal is not only to help students get better grades, but also to help them truly understand the material and feel more confident in the classroom.
I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds and strive to make learning engaging, approachable, and rewarding.
