About Irem
Hello! My name is Irem, and I am a native Turkish speaker with fluency in both Turkish and English. I bring a warm, encouraging, and student-focused approach to tutoring. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, my lessons are tailored to suit your individual goals, learning pace, and interests. My teaching method is interactive and supportive—I use clear explanations, practical examples, and conversation-based exercises to help you build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing Turkish. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and can be adjusted depending on the student's age and learning goals. I have over a year of tutoring experience, helping students of various ages learn languages and academic subjects. I hold double degrees in Civil and Industrial Engineering, and I am currently living in Melbourne.
