About Riz
I have been living in South Africa for the past 18 years. While living in Portugal, I taught Portuguese to foreign children and adults for 3 years, and since then I have continued teaching students from different parts of the world online.
My lessons are personalized to suit each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you want to improve conversation, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing or simply gain confidence speaking Portuguese, I adapt my teaching methods to your needs. I also enjoy including interactive and fun activities to make lessons engaging and enjoyable.
My goal is to create a relaxed and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while enjoying this beautiful language

Hello! My name is Rizuana, but you can call me Riz
I was born in Mozambique and raised in Portugal, which gave me a deep connection to the Portuguese language and culture from an early age.
I hold qualifications in Management, IT, Accounting and A+, and I have always enjoyed working with people and helping others learn. As a naturally friendly and communicative person, I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to improve their Portuguese skills.
I am passionate about teaching and believe that language opens doors to new cultures, opportunities and connections. My goal is to help students gain confidence in speaking, reading and understanding this beautiful language at their own pace.
