I am working as student support in Sheffield Uni. It is obvious that I am easygoing and friendly. I helped with people with different levels of Mandarin knowledge to improve and get 'local'. I want people to know authentic Mandarin and a real China.

Textbook based but also depends on people's preference. It is not boring to learn Chinese at all! I prefer talking to people as friends and building up the context.
I do enjoy relaxing and friendly teaching environment but students do need loads of input of Chinese to make sure that they got the solid basement. So I would expect students remember most of the stuff taught during the class.
