About Jin
Hi! I'm Jin, a medical doctor, graduating from the University of East Anglia in 2018.
Medical school applications ranks as one of the more stressful moments in my life, so I'm here to help you have a better experience than I did!
I specialise in helping with interview preparation and personal statement reviews. Why these specifically? Because during my time as a medical school admissions interviewer, these were the two areas that had the biggest influence on which students stood out amongst the rest.

I specialise in interview preparation and personal statement development.
I offer a free 30 min consultation online where we review what parts of your application I can help with and then create a personalised lesson plan.
The interview is the most important and challenging part of your application. I will work through example questions with you, guide you on how to best answer them, and give individualised feedback on how you approach each question.
I can also offer a full mock interview and give tailored feedback afterwards.
For personal statements, I review them at home and email them back with detailed annotated feedback. Or we can have a more in depth discussion online about the areas of strength and weakness. I have lost count how many I have read and I know what the interviewers are looking for. If you wish, you can send me updated drafts of your statement for me to review again.
Every lesson is online and will last 1-2 hours, usually once a week but I'm more than happy to work around your availability.
