About Savarci
I am an accounting professional with over six years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial reporting, and QuickBooks. I hold an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Indianapolis. I am also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
My professional experience includes financial statement preparation and review, Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, construction job costing, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, month-end closing, and QuickBooks management.
I enjoy helping students connect accounting theory with real-world accounting practices. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenging concepts, and developing the practical accounting skills and confidence they need for school, work, or business.

My accounting lessons combine academic concepts with practical, real-world applications. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind accounting principles rather than simply memorizing rules.
Lessons are structured around clear explanations, worked examples, practice exercises, and step-by-step problem-solving. Depending on the student's goals, we can cover accounting fundamentals, debits and credits, journal entries, the accounting cycle, adjusting entries, financial statements, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, job costing, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting.
My practical accounting experience enables me to show students how accounting concepts are applied in business, including construction accounting and project costing.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, college and university accounting students, accounting professionals, bookkeepers, and business owners who want to strengthen their accounting knowledge and practical skills. Lessons can be customized to each student's experience level, learning pace, and goals.
