About Emmett
I am a Math tutor with over five years of teaching experience and a BA in Mathematics. My academic background is strongly rooted in topology and knot theory. I enjoy helping students understand how shapes and spaces behave under continuous change. These ideas may seem abstract at first, but I make them clear using visual aids, diagrams, and simple models. I often connect concepts to real-world examples, such as molecular structures, braided materials, and natural patterns. This approach helps students build strong intuition before moving to formal proofs. I work closely with students who are curious about abstract mathematics. Many of my learners also come from physics and art backgrounds. I encourage creative thinking while maintaining mathematical rigor. Lessons are structured, interactive, and concept-focused. I guide students to ask meaningful questions and develop proof-based reasoning. My goal is to help students explore a branch of mathematics where intuition meets precision and curiosity leads to deep understanding.
