About Yasmin
Hi! I am a nice and patient Maths tutor with a BSc in Mathematics, Finance, and Economics. I enjoy assisting kids in developing confidence and genuinely understanding the subject, rather than simply memorising it. My lessons are calming, encouraging, and adapted to each student's learning style. I've helped GCSE and A-Level students improve their results, increase their problem-solving abilities, and even see that maths can be entertaining! I believe that with the proper direction and technique, any kid can excel in arithmetic. My classes are focused on understanding concepts rather than memorising rules, allowing students to appreciate the logic behind each topic and confidently apply it in exams and real-world situations. Each session is targeted to the student's specific needs, whether they are catching up on difficult topics, sharpening exam tactics, or striving for high grades. To help students develop problem-solving abilities and confidence, I offer straightforward explanations, step-by-step examples, and plenty of practice questions. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include a mix of theory, examples, and interactive exercises to keep learning engaging and effective. With a BSc in Mathematics with Finance and Economics and experience supporting GCSE and A-Level students, I’m dedicated to helping learners develop both understanding and confidence in maths.
