About Nkanyiso
I am a medical student with a strong passion for mathematics and helping learners overcome challenges in subjects that often feel intimidating. Earlier in my academic journey I struggled with mathematics and physical science, but through perseverance, disciplined study, and the guidance of dedicated teachers, I developed a deep understanding of these subjects and eventually became one of the top achievers in my district. This experience inspired me to help other learners realize that struggling with mathematics does not mean they are incapable. My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, strengthen their foundations, and gain a clear understanding of mathematical and physical sciences concepts so that they can succeed in their studies and pursue their academic ambitions.

My lessons focus on building strong mathematical and physical sciences understanding while helping students overcome fear and gain confidence in the subject. I begin by identifying any gaps in foundational knowledge and then explain concepts in a clear and simple way before guiding students through examples step by step. Students are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate so that learning becomes engaging rather than intimidating. I also place emphasis on problem-solving and exam preparation, helping learners develop the skills and confidence needed to approach challenging questions and perform well in their assessments. My goal is not only to improve marks but also to help students truly understand mathematics and physics; and believe in their ability to succeed.
